Sight Saving Mission - China

Dr. Michael Vrabec traveled to China as a visiting professor in April 2010 at Shenyang University. Dr. Vrabec spent time teaching advanced sight saving skills in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and corneal transplantation.

Shenyang is a large industrial city with a new western style hospital.

Everything is “a-ok” as ORBIS nurse Rajan gives the ok sign and wishes all world peace before the start of a corneal transplant.		Patient is all smiles after undergoing sight-saving DSAEK Corneal Transplant surgery by Dr. Vrabec.
